ABOUT EILEEN 

Eileen Manela is a Psychotherapist who received her Master's Degree from New York University in 1986.  She is licensed and accredited in both Connecticut and New York and has been practicing for over thirty years. Eileen sees a wide range of clients focusing on life transitions, anxiety, relationship issues, depression, parenting support, work/career issues, stress management and illness.  In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, Eileen offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs to help problem solve, gain insight, awareness and attain personal growth. Eileen brings her heartfelt, supportive, and insightful ways to her work, and to the center of clients' experiences. 

ABOUT EILEEN 

Eileen Manela is a Psychotherapist who received her Master's Degree from New York University in 1986, She continues to be a student of ongoing continuing education having completed post-masters training  at The Ackerman Institute For Family Therapy,  The Society For Ericksonian Psychotherapy, and has studied with The Hartford Family Institute focusing on the science and soul of psychotherapy. 

 

Eileen is licensed and accredited in both Connecticut and New York.  

 

Eileen has three decades of mental health experience in clinics, hospitals and private practice with individuals, couples, families, and groups. She facilitates numerous support groups, seminars, and workshops. 

Eileen's work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for fifteen years led to her subspecialty of working with all phases of illness.  

 

Over the decades,  Eileen has studied and integrated different treatment modalities to help clients create an environment for change and to create a more fulfilling life.   Eileen brings her training as a Yoga Instructor to her heartfelt, suportive and insightful work, and to the center of her client's experiences.
